Dr. Ivan Atkinson, BA (Hons), PhD

Ivan has been registered as a psychologist since 1996 and completed his PhD at Flinders University in 2003. He has taught in academic settings, most recently as Head of Counselling at Tabor College, operated a Counselling Centre, and provided supervision to psychologists and counsellors. Currently, he is the National Convener of CAPIG, an interest group of the Australian Psychological Society. Ivan’s areas of expertise encompass marriage and relationships, adult survivors of childhood trauma, and general clinical issues such as depression and anxiety. Ivan works with individuals, couples, and families. Ivan also conducts and is available for training, workshops, and seminars.

Anne Atkinson, BMin., Grad. Dip. (Couns.)

Anne is in her sixth year of working in private practice, providing counselling for a wide range of issues. Anne specialises in the area of trauma, including the complexity of dissociation. Her passion is to incorporate the spiritual, mental, emotional and physical realms. Anne combines her theoretical knowledge with a variety of therapies using her unique warm, strong and empathic approach.
